Charles Chaplin Research programme

Photo: David Robinson

The programme will provide a focal point for access to the considerable Chaplin related holdings in Britain including those of the bfi and a guide to other Chaplin materials in the UK and worldwide. It will develop high-level critical reassessment of Chaplin's work and in particular his relationship with this country. The bfi is delighted to have the collaboration of lifelong Chaplin researcher and biographer, David Robinson, as founding fellow and guiding light on our Chaplin projects.
