28. Those Love Pangs (1914)
Keystone 1914
Synopsis
Chester and Charlie compete for the affections of their landlady and several girls in the park. Chester seems to have all the luck, with Charlie looking on. He decides to end it all but is prevented from jumping in the lake by a policeman. Charlie has a fight with another punter before seeing one of the girls giving money to Chester from her shoe. Charlie knocks Chester out and steals the money. He uses it to get into the cinema where two of the girls have gone. He sits between them, but waking from a doze, finds Chester and the other punter instead. They throw him through the cinema screen.
