Essanay 1915-16
Synopsis
Charlie gets a job as a carpenter's assistant in the 'Lockstone' film studio and causes havoc as he knocks people over with planks and spoils several scenes. He is given the chance to be the star but is easily distracted by a dice game. When he resumes the scene he acts in full melodramatic style, but rips the train off the leading lady and a fight between Charlie, the enraged director and disgruntled would be actor, Ben Turpin ensues.
